Citronella grass (Cymbopogon nardus) is renowned for its citrusy scent and is often planted for its mosquito-repelling properties. Important to note that while the plant does have mosquito-repelling abilities, simply having it in the garden may not provide complete protection. Crushing the leaves can release the oils and help its mosquito-repelling effect.

Citronella grass can grow up to 5 or 6 feet tall, forming clumps of tall, narrow leaves.

Shipping from our nursery to you:
We ship on Monday & Tuesdays according to climatic conditions to ensure your plants arrive in a timely manner for proper care, without unnecessary time spent in their dark box.
Where we cannot ship to:
At this time we are not able to fulfill orders outside of the U.S. due to agriculture regulations.
We also do not ship to Hawaii or Alaska because of their distance from our nursery and the sensitive nature of the plants we ship.
