Ballon Flower (Platycodon grandiflora)

Balloon flower is a unique perennial. Just before the blooms open they will expand like an inflated balloon until they open into a beautiful blue/purple star. Not a tall plant only reaching 2 feet in height. It blooms late into the season when many flowers have past. The roots are known for having antimicrobial and antibacterial qualities. Roots are used in Asian food.

Shipping from our nursery to you:
We ship on Monday & Tuesdays according to climatic conditions to ensure your plants arrive in a timely manner for proper care, without unnecessary time spent in their dark box.
Where we cannot ship to:
At this time we are not able to fulfill orders outside of the U.S. due to agriculture regulations.
We also do not ship to Hawaii or Alaska because of their distance from our nursery and the sensitive nature of the plants we ship.
