Comfrey is a perennial herb with large, hairy leaves; with bell-shaped flowers. Plenty of medicinal properties are associated with Comfrey. Leaves are often used as a natural fertilizer. Popular permaculture plant.

Large and broad, rough-textured leaves that often have a slightly hairy rough textured surface.
Flowers:
Clusters of tubular bell shaped flowers, varying in shades of purple, blue, pink, or white.
Height:
Can reach up to 3 to 4 feet in height.

Location:
Plant comfrey in a sunny to partial shaded.
Soil:
Well-draining soil enriched with organic matter is ideal. Comfrey tolerates various soil types.
